November is National Diabetes Awareness Month. We thought we’d celebrate by interviewing our resident expert on diabetes! Dr. Caralise Hunt is an Associate Professor and our Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Prior to entering academia, she practiced as a registered nurse in a variety of settings. Dr. Hunt’s program of research is focused on self-management behaviors of people living with type 2 diabetes mellitus. In this episode we dive in to some very practical ways to stay healthy even after you’ve been diagnosed with diabetes.
